If you like it and think you have use for it, just take this CSS only World Map home with you for whatever you want to use it. I did not use it for several reasons, among others, it has to load 6 images (not always) and the square concept will split some countries.
No JavaScript or Flash required, dunno if that's good or bad. Inspired by An Image magnifier.
